Yucai is the founder of FLY2999 and a passionate aviator with a deep love for flight. He has flown over 2 million miles to more than 60 countries, gaining a global perspective on aviation. With a focus on real-world, efficient training, Yucai is dedicated to helping pilots build skill, confidence, and safety from day one.

Matthew holds a business degree and completed flight training through Kansas State’s Part 141 Aviation Program. He has worked with multiple aerospace startups and has strong experience in drone operations and aviation technology.

Zhenwei brings strong retail and leadership experience, having worked in management roles at GNC and Macy’s. With a background in team supervision, operations, and customer service, he adds valuable business insight and organizational strength to any team.

Have you ever dreamed of flying a plane? Now you can — for just $99! Join us at FLY2999 for a Discovery Flight that gives you the unforgettable opportunity to sit in the pilot's seat of a PA-28 Cherokee and take the controls, guided by a certified flight instructor.
Your experience begins with a short pre-flight briefing where we’ll cover the basics of flight and walk you through what to expect. Then, you'll head to the ramp and take off for approximately 45 minutes of actual flight time, where you'll fly the plane yourself, enjoy stunning views, and feel the freedom of the open sky — all under the safe supervision of a professional.
You can choose to fly solo with the instructor, or bring a friend or family member to ride along in the back seat and share the moment. To ensure safety and maintain proper weight and balance, the total weight of all occupants (excluding the instructor) must be under 350 lbs.
